Returning to Sewanee After a Leave

For full consideration, applications for reinstatement must be received by October 25 for Easter semester and April 1 for the Advent semester; this allows students who are approved for reinstatement to register for classes with their cohort. Applications received after these dates will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a typical cycle taking at least two weeks. No applications for reinstatement will be considered within ten working days of the start of the next full semester.

If you attended another college or university, you will need to upload the "Statement of good standing" at the appropriate place below. Have this document ready as a PDF before you begin. Sewanee has two parameters for students receiving aid through the University: (a) they must meet minimum academic progress standards, and (b) aid is offered for only 8 semesters of enrollment, whether completed or not. Medical Documentation

(You may need to copy-paste the URL.) Your health care provider will have to complete the form with you!

That form and any related paperwork must be submitted electronically--if not attached to this form (see below), then as scanned files (PDFs) to the Office of Student Success at studentsuccess@sewanee.edu. All documents should be clearly labeled. No application will be considered by the committee on reinstatement until it is complete.
